I woke up this morning and noticed a strange purple mark on my jaw. Then I remembered Draco grabbing my face last night and sucking vigorously on the side of my chin. Yes, I am the proud owner of a baby hickey...!

I find myself wondering if I should take a picture of it, because the whole idea of it is just so darn cute. I'm pretty sure this is the sort of thing that characterizes me as a new parent. :)

I have a 1 month old. A few days ago, I noticed her sucking on her arm. When I tried to pull her arm away, she had such a suction on it, it took several minutes. I noticed a few minutes later a huge purple bruise right there on her arm. Made me sad that she had her first bruise!
