August Book Tour Highlights - Part 1!

Here’s a summary of some of the press I did for my book tour this August for my latest math book, Girls Get Curves: Geometry Takes Shape!
The Today Show – August 13th 2012
I had such a great time in both my segments – first with
Savannah and then with Kathie Lee! Wore a red Dina Bar-El dress on both
segments. I also wrote a guest blog for Today Moms, which was fun to put
together. So if you click on the linke, the first video you’ll see is with
Savannah Guthrie, followed by my (written) guest blog on “5 Tips to Conquer
Math Phobia For Your Kids,” and then my segment with Kathie Lee appears at the bottom

Morning Joe – Aired live, August 14th 2012
LOVED this. Had such an awesome time with the roundtable
discussion at Morning Joe. We talked math, the gender “gap,” and my new book,
Girls Get Curves: Geometry Takes Shape! If you’re curious about what’s actually
in my book, this is the best segment to watch. (And thank you to Dina Bar-El
for lending me another amazing dress to wear!)

I chatted with some online folks and the discussion went from the math to singing (um, the quadratic formula) to... babies and the challenges of labor! Yes, this interview went many places. ;)

Always interesting doing these satellite interviews, where you can’t see
the person you’re talking to... because they are in a different state! I had a
great time, and here's a picture so you can see the fabulous brown lacy Dina Bar-El dress I got to wear on it. Fancy fancy for the
news, I know... :)
